Deep technical detail
Files above 8 MB are split into 8 MB content-defined chunks. Up to 512 parallel streams per client, each with independent retry and checksum verification. Server-side reassembly is transparent to the end user.
Block-level deduplication is performed tenant-wide. In typical Silicium workloads this yields a 3.4× storage reduction, primarily from replicated PDK files and duplicated regression outputs.
Read-after-write consistency is guaranteed within a region. Cross-region replicas converge within 60 seconds in normal operation and provide monotonic read semantics during partition events.
AES-256-GCM at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, envelope keys rotated every 90 days. Customer-managed root keys are never persisted by CloudPocket when HYOK mode is enabled.
Multi-AZ within region plus optional cross-region replication. RPO 0 for synced files; RTO under 5 minutes for a full regional failover. 99.99% SLA on Sovereign plans.
